# Graphical Journey Editor

> Orchestrating automated customer conversations with the React Flow-based Journey Graph.

The Graphical Journey Editor is a visual canvas for building automated, multi-step communication flows. Built on React Flow, it allows you to drag, drop, and connect logic blocks to create sophisticated customer journeys.

## The Journey Canvas

The editor provides a spatial interface where you can map out every interaction:

### Interaction Nodes

* **Message Node**: Sends a specific WhatsApp template or free-text message.
* **Wait Node**: Pauses the journey for a set duration (e.g., "Wait 2 hours").
* **Condition Node**: Branches the flow based on logic (e.g., "If button clicked", "If tag exists").
* **Goal Node**: Marks the successful completion of a conversion event.

### Edge Connections

Edges represent the path a contact takes. You can create branching logic by connecting multiple edges from a single node, triggered by different user actions like button clicks or keyword responses.

## Key Capabilities

### React Flow Integration

* **Infinite Canvas**: Scale your journeys from simple auto-responders to complex multi-week drip campaigns.
* **Snapping and Auto-alignment**: Keep your graphs clean and readable.
* **Mini-map**: Easily navigate large, complex journey structures.

### Real-time Logic

Journeys react instantly to incoming webhooks. When a user interacts with a message, the journey engine evaluates the conditions and advances the contact to the next node immediately.

### Versioning and Drafts

* **Draft Mode**: Build and test your journey without affecting active contacts.
* **Publishing**: When you publish a new version, you can choose to let existing contacts finish the old version or migrate them to the new logic.

## Common Use Cases

1. **Onboarding Flows**: Send a sequence of "how-to" guides after a user first connects.
2. **Abandoned Cart**: Trigger a reminder message if a purchase goal isn't met within 24 hours.
3. **Automated Surveys**: Ask for feedback after a service interaction and branch based on the rating received.

## Performance Monitoring

Each node in the Journey Editor displays live stats:

* **Entered**: How many contacts reached this step.
* **Dropped**: Contacts who stopped at this step.
* **Converted**: Frequency of goal achievement originating from this path.
